Tired and lazy = no blogging done for a long time

Yup, title says it all....

Since Kevin went to China and left his weekend car for us to use, I have to wake up earlier and leave work later. Then Dad had to go for an emergency eye operation and now a spare weekend car is at home. Two weekend cars, twice the season parking coupon that we have to get and yet, I still have to wake up early just to get to work...

At least when Kevin is back this Wednesday, he will be going in to Malaysia so there is one less car to worry about.

Joelle took her first tiny step unaided yesterday, even though it is just a shuffling of feet unsteadily, we clapped and praised her. James was saying that her looks have changed again. Of course, she is growing up... Going to be 14 months soon, I'm a big gal now, she will mimic mom's action by putting her little feet into her big shoes, and surprisingly, it is right feet into right shoe and left feet into left shoe, hahaha.... but she didn't take any steps wearing those big shoes.

Vain little gal, she will get Amy to put on her shoes for her after her bath and have dressed up in her pretty dress, then it is Hi 5 time as she eats her biscuits. She is totally glued to the TV when she watches Hi 5, no one can distract her from it except when you tell her that you are going out, then she will look at you. First, are you dressed nicely? Second, are you holding your bag and keys in hand? Third, have you put on your shoes? If all 3 criterias were meet, ok, she will allow you to carry her and start to point to the door. Was telling my mum that she is not stupid, don't pretend pretend to act in front of her that you are going out, she won't take the bait and will totally ignore you and continue to watch her show.

Work - my budget is not totally over yet till the end of this month. Tired of changing those figures so often and after changing, we may still need to change it again.

Looking forward to next month, may just take a few days off after Chinese New Year. Rest and relax as there are no holidays this month. James was saying that I must be looking forward to June, I told him yes, as I can stay home and sleep all I want...but it won't be easy as we have to look after a new baby... who will have enough sleep?

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Was suppose to have posted this yesterday but it just can't get posted so here it is.

Had dinner with Anne, Cindy and Mabel and a quaint little Japanese restaurant over at Emerald Hill. The place is not big but they seems to have a lot of customers for dinner.Luckily Anne had reserved a table.

As it was a la carte buffet, we ordered rounds of sashimi and other bite sized food for sharing. Can you imagine 4 girls eating from 7 to about 10 pm.... That's how long we had dinner for last night.

Staying at home today, get a good rest before going back to work tomorrow. Believe that there will be lots of emails and request for forecast changes once I am back in the office. Now looking forward to February as that's when the next long holidays will be.
